Good Jam, a small company in North Carolina specializing in organic probiotic-infused jams, needed a strong brand identity to appeal to health-conscious consumers. The challenge was to design a company logo and jam label that effectively communicated the product’s organic, probiotic-rich nature while resonating with two distinct audience segments: health-conscious individuals and parents prioritizing their children’s well-being. The project involved collaboration with the company’s founders, marketing consultants, and a packaging supplier.
The goal was to create a visually appealing and informative design that highlighted Good Jam’s unique fermentation process and health benefits while maintaining an approachable and premium aesthetic. The branding had to reflect values like sustainability, organic living, and gut health to attract the intended audience.
I was responsible for developing the brand identity, including the logo and jam label design. The new branding and label design successfully positioned Good Jam as a premium health-focused product, increasing its appeal to the target audience. The design effectively communicated the probiotic benefits, received positive feedback from focus groups, and was approved for production. As a result, Good Jam launched in farmers' markets and health food stores across North Carolina, supporting initial sales efforts.
